The Romanian Dermato-oncology Society (SRDO)

The Romanian Dermato-oncology Society (SRDO) 

-was established in Cluj-Napoca in June 2010 as a necessity due to the increased incidence of tumor pathology, the need for a national record of different types of skin cancer and the promotion of methods to prevent skin cancers at the population level.
   SRDO wishes to support dermatologists who have oncology patients almost daily, promoting deeper knowledge in the field of dermatology, oncology-surgical development, and the use of modern diagnostic and treatment methods. In this respect, the founders of the society support and promote the organization of dermatological surgery courses, dermatoscopy courses and other methods of early diagnosis of skin cancers, and in the long term the development of dermatological surgery centers in the county medical units.
   SRDO wishes to support information and education programs about the risk factors involved in generating skin cancer as well as ways of early detection.
