The Federation of Cancer Patient Associations (FABC) was set up in 2005 by the need for all those who fight cancer to become a force with a strong voice. FABC is the interface between member organizations and state institutions, European institutions involved in health, and similar European and international organizations. FABC represents the interests of over 75,000 members across the country, patients, survivors and volunteers. FABC is a federation made up of 26 associations working locally at county level. FABC's mission is to actively lobby and advocacy to promote, respect and guarantee the rights of cancer patients, and to implement the necessary measures to reduce the impact of this disease.
